inSights – Institute of Innovations for Gender and Humanitarian Transformations successfully
conducted two batches of three days-long trainings sessions for national and local NGOs
implementing partner of IOM Bangladesh. Basic capacity sharing program on humanitarian
essentials and SPHERE standards in complex humanitarian context of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh is
an initiative of IOM Bangladesh through its Localization Unit in Cox's Bazar. The trainings were
intended to transfer basic knowledge on developing understanding of Principled Humanitarian
Actions include Code of Conduct (CoC), PSEA & Protection (General), Basic M&E (Monitoring
& Evaluation) and CFM (Complaint Feedback Mechanism) and SPHERE Standard for different
humanitarian interventions. Two batches of training were participated by 36 participants, 32
male and 4 female. Ranging from implementing level staff, the participants include senior level
manager and leaders of organisations finance and grants, human resources, project managers
and monitoring evaluation.
